Proudly Presenting: Linked Mentoring — Our Rainbow Rebrand

We are absolutely thrilled to share a new phase for our organization as we rebrand to further center our mission and vision, a change that fills us with excitement for the future and gratitude for the journey that led us here.

Originally founded in 2019 as GSA Link, Inc., our journey began with Melissa Clark and her son Ryan Clark on a mission to connect, empower, and inspire LGBTQ+ school-aged youth throughout Massachusetts. Over time, mentoring relationships between the young people and adults in the program naturally began to form, and our focus has evolved to facilitate intergenerational one-to-one, group, and peer mentoring relationships. Now, we are a national, remote-first organization, having served over 100 LGBTQ+ youth and over 450 families across 4 states and counting in building affirming intergenerational relationships. We are called to rebrand to align our organization with our evolved purpose and mission.

Linked Mentoring is already a commonly used name in our organization as it’s the title of our youth mentoring program. Our Board President and now Interim Director of Organizational Sustainability, Izzy Spriggs (she/they), shares that “many of the young people in our community were already calling our organization Linked Mentoring, so we are simply rising to their language.”

With that, allow us to introduce ourselves. *throat clear* We are Linked Mentoring, and we are happy you’re here, a community where LGBTQ+ young people belong, connect, and grow. Our mission is to create transformative mentorship opportunities where LGBTQ+ young people are invited to explore their passions, agency, and personhood alongside an intergenerational community.

But wait, there are so many more exciting things coming soon, and we don’t want you to miss them!

Thank you all for joining us in this new chapter! Notably, this growth would not have been possible without the generous support of our funders and community sponsors, and we are immensely grateful for them.
